Project Overview
- The scheme at Sundorne comprises the removal of existing Portico entrances along with the glazed canopy, block paving and shop fronts. These are replaced with a new canopy, louvres and full height glazed shop fronts and new paved area. Two of the stores are being sub divided during the alterations for new incoming tenants
- The works are being phased behind a hoarded area with night working were necessary to alleviate any danger to the customers and staff
- The schemes involve the installation of structural branded hoarding with segregated pedestrian zones, this allows safe access and ingress for the customers whilst the works are taking place
- New exterior cladding along with a new structural steel canopy is being installed, the large anchor store being sub divided is having new roof cladding and the other units are having the roofs coated
- All the units are having their existing shop fronts removed and replaced by new full height curtain walling, which include Phase 1 former Homebase Unit / Phase 2a former Staples, Carpet Right and Dream / Phase 2b DFS and External Car Park Works
- Most of the site is a live environment and the stores will all remain trading whilst the remodelling takes place, structural tunnels have been designed for access to the stores
