    Project Overview

Sympathetically designed building utilising natural stone , timber and structural aluminium to create a cathedral like reception area with meeting rooms, offices, and a large link area to the church which forms a new cafeteria area.

Alterations to the existing church creating new fire escapes within the current fabric from stone and oak.

Natural stone and structural aluminium screen work under a timber, zinc and rubber membrane roof. Close liaison with the local planning officer and tree protection officer due to the mature tress surrounding the site.

Existing church M&E systems were upgrade to include a new smart heating system with the whole extension featuring underfloor heating. Large car park areas utilising permeable paviours. The site was registered in the Considerate Constructor’s scheme, which included local school site visits and colouring competitions for the children.

Challenging project due to the live environment with the church carrying on its day to day business of marriages, funerals and ordinations
