    Project Info

    Project Overview
    • The shop front has been constructed in traditional style in keeping with the build but incorporating the new Co-Operative Community Store branding and design.
    • J M Scully took the ground floor as a developers shell and worked closely with the developer while both store and residential works were carried out simultaneously.
    • As ever working in Central London in a residential area there are always challenges in respect of deliveries/access and working times. The project was successfully programmed with all deliveries scheduled to avoid disturbance to the local community, and deliver the project on time.
    • The project posed other challenges with the store being land lock on two sides, and our team worked closely with the clients professional design team to overcome the issue of attenuating the plant to avoid disturbance to adjoining buildings.
    • This project is one of a number of store acquisitions currently being rolled-out across the UK and marking a significant step in the continuing development and transformation of the Co-Operative brand on the High Street.
